2026 Firefighter Summer Games Information
The Firefighter Summer Games are headed to Newport Beach, and the lineup is pure California energy with a turnout of grit, skill, and ocean air.
From June 21–26, 2026, firefighters from across the state will gather for a week packed with competition, connection, and a well-earned dose of coastal downtime. Whether you’re chasing a podium finish or just showing up for the camaraderie, this is the place to be.

What to Expect:
From the crack of the bat on the softball field to early morning surf sessions, the Games offer something for every kind of competitor. Events include CrossFit, mountain biking, a 15K trail run, and more. When the sun goes down, the energy doesn’t—nightly gatherings, a Kids Olympics, and discounted camping at the Dunes keep the momentum rolling.

2025 Wildland Fires:
Several Newport Beach Firefighters have been deployed to assist with the fires in Pacific Palisades and Pasadena/Altadena. These images are directly from the crews deployed during one of the most significant Santa Ana wind events in recent history. Prayers for their safe return and for all those affected by this devastating event.
